I am a stay at home mother of two who currently homeschools my one child who is autistic. I have been tutoring since I was in high school and haven’t stop since. I currently tutor six elementary students and one college student. I am a current graduate of Delaware County Community College with an Associates in Science for the Health Professional. I love to help people, I am a very persistent tutor and won’t stop until my tutee understands the subject completely and is comfortable with it. I love to see people happy and confident with a subject. It makes me happy knowing I helped with that, I am a kind,caring,and helpful person who only wants for my tutee to succeed like I did.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get know their strengths and weaknesses and see where they need the most help in. I also make sure they are comfortable with me first.

i have an Associates in science for the health professional and have been tutoring for 10years now.

yes my standard pricing is $10 an hour

I started in high school because I always liked to help people and see them succeed like me.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event that I am fond of was my high school homecoming, all the classes got together and did something for our community whether it was donating school supplies or coats.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The advise I would give is to make sure the teacher is willing to do the work and help, and not just sit there and make you do it on your own.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How would the tutor make you feel comfortable with learning the subject.
