Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first give the student a pre-assessment regarding the content being studied. I use this pre-assessment to gather an understanding of the student's strengths and weakenesses of the content. Next, I use the information from the pre-assessment to decide how to move forward with improving the student's skills. I also ask the student what he/she feels is his/her best way to learn, and I try to incorporate those practices into the activities during each lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching since 2016, and since March of 2020 I have been teaching virtually. I am also studying for my Master's in Secondary Education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety if students. I have taught students as young as four to as old as nineteen. I have also worked with students who needed ELL services.
