Amy's Tutoring Services offer something that many tutors don't offer and that is the convenience to meet online and get the same experience that you would get if we met in person. Through my online services, I am able to provide my students with more flexibility and availability. Another great thing about my tutoring services is that because I don't have to drive to a location, my rates are affordable and are guaranteed to fit any budget. Lastly, if for whatever reason my online services are not a good fit for you and you would like to have our tutoring sessions in-person, I'll be happy to meet you at any public location within 10 miles of Albrightsville, PA.
My favorite part about my job is that I get to see other people progress in life and achive each and every one of their goals just like I have achieved mine in my own personal life. There's no greater satisfaction in life than helping others succeed.

Amy is the #1 best!
The work that she provides.
Amy was always prepared and was extremely patient while teaching my mom, who's older in age, basic computer skills. Also, her rates are very fair for someone who goes above and beyond expectations.
Because everyone is so different and everyone has different needs, I keep things very simple with each of my students in order to keep things organized and be able to understand them. Usually, the first communication we have is via email or over the phone–this is when we discuss my services, prices and we get to know each other. The second phase of the process is scheduling a date to meet via Skype, Zoom, or FaceTime to go over expectations and what services I will be providing. Shortly after that meeting, the next step is to set up a payment due date and schedule a date and time for our tutoring sessions. That is it! My process for working with new students is simple and only consists of three steps.

I've been teaching since I was a 18 years old. I've always liked the idea of helping others and when I was given the opportunity to become a Sunday School teacher at a local church that I attend, I took it. Then, when I enrolled in college and I visited a nearby elementary school the desire to teach grew even more. Since then, I've been a private tutor helping students and adults succeed.
I have mostly worked with children and teenagers, but have had worked with adults as well.
Consider the following questions:
1. What exactly do I need help with? (Don't be too broad, be specific)
2. Am I doing this for school/work or to fulfill a personal goal?
3. Do I have the time to fully commit myself to tutoring classes?
4. Am I willing to put in some extra effort?
5. How often do I want to meet with my tutor?
6. Do I understand that a tutor is only there to guide me not to do the work for me?
