Houssem CHAIR

Hello! My name is Houssem and I live in Sweden. I’m a certified English teacher with six years of experience teaching secondary school students as well as learners of various ages in a private language center. I have a strong background in designing engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum and preparing students for exams, including TOEFL.

I’m passionate about using creative methods like mind maps and interactive activities to help students grasp new vocabulary and language concepts effectively. I genuinely enjoy connecting with my students, and I strive to create a comfortable learning environment that fosters both confidence and curiosity.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, exploring new cultures, and spending time in nature. I believe that a well-rounded teacher brings personal experiences into the classroom, which I’m excited to share with my students online!

I taught full time at a secondary school for six years where I've designed lessons that align with the national curriculum, ensuring that each student not only learns the language but also enjoys the process. I believe that learning should be engaging and tailored to each individual's needs.

I've also worked part-time at a private language center, where I taught General English and English for Specific Purposes, or ESP, to learners of all ages. This experience taught me the importance of adapting my teaching methods to suit different learning styles and goals.

My main goal is to create a positive and meaningful learning experience for all my students. I want to establish a supportive and engaging environment where they feel comfortable and motivated to advance their English skills.

As I continue teaching online, I also hope to learn from my students and adjust to their unique learning styles. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of online teaching methods, which will help me effectively connect with a wide range of learners globally. Additionally,
