I am a seasoned English language instructor who uses fun and interactive strategies to engage students and improve their prononunciation, grammar and conversation skills. I can tailor lessons to meet specific career and education goals.
I have lived and worked in several different non-English speaking countries - and now in the US I host international students in my home on a regular basis. See my photos below!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know the student first in terms of their learning style, what they hope to accomplish and why they want to improve their English. After getting to know their individual wants and needs, I tailor the lessons to address them in particular.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught English in South Korea and Ecuador before moving back to the USA where I continued to teach adult and university students in both the immigrant/refugee community education arena as well as private English language institutes. I also have a Master's degree in second language teaching and curriculum design.
