SAT Maths Tutoring
About
I do not put my students on the same scale.I understand each individual/student has different learning capability & i respect that. I like to know what my student needs & expects from me. I chalk out the plan specific to each individual & work with them to achieve it.
Working in tutoring industry for almost a decade & seeing my students reach where they are currently gives me a great satisfaction & peace of mind in what I am doing.
I love working with students & making them learn that can help them grow big in their careers personally & professionally.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I listen to my students to understand what they want to learn, where they are lacking & how I can prepare a customized individual learning plan to help them achieve their goals. I love teaching when students are curious, and my classes are interactive, where I give complete freedom for students to ask questions and then further delve into more profound theories and co-relate with practical and day-to-day scenarios.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am open to the students needs & can work with any pricing range.
How did you get started teaching?
It started as an additional source of income during my free time in my college days. When i saw the transformation I was able to bring in my students lives personally & professionally by tutoring them, It made me rethink my career goals & made me move from part time to full time tutoring.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with hundreds of students in the last 10-12 years of my teaching career. I have helped students deal with difficult topics and subjects like Electrical circuit designing, Digital Signal processing, Networking systems, Calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra I, Algebra II etc. . After learning from me, students have found these subjects are not dull but fun subjects.
I work with students of all types from students whose concepts are weaker to extremely bright students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One example that has really stuck with me happened while I was student teaching. There was a girl who was really struggling with her math lessons and you could tell that she would get very frustrated with herself. Her grades were quickly declining and it was definitely something she was embarrassed about. She was a friend of one of my students. Her parents reached out to me & I sat with her two days continously to understand her concerns so she could get some one-on-one attention. I’m not sure if it was the fact that someone was paying attention to her or that she had been waiting for someone to reach out, but we quickly started our mini-tutoring sessions and her grades started to improve. I really think it was this experience that made me realize how much I love teaching and how much of a difference I can make in kid’s lives. Her parents actually reached out to me few weeks later to let me know how much they appreciated me taking the time to help. To me it was such a small commitment, but to her it made a big difference.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
There are no questions that a student should hold back while asking their teacher. The more questions they ask, the more they learn, grow & solidify their concepts on the subject.
