What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With new students, I first take the time to get to know them and assess their levels before we dive into their growth.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in English, a bachelor's in Education, a minor in Spanish, and a Master's degree in Education. I am endorsed to teach English Language Arts and ESOL to grades k-12. I have been a high school teacher for 6 years and taught in the Dominican Republic.

$40 an hour
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching in the Dominican Republic. I later transitioned to student teaching at Philomath and Corvallis high school. I began my career as a teacher in Woodburn and have taught at the high school for 6 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ages 6-18. I have worked with students with severe trauma, English language learners, students with cognitive impairments, students on IEPs, as well as advanced students.
