About
I study Spanish at an Ivy League university and have been studying it formally since I was 5, including through AP Spanish Language and Literature in late high school. I am a native Spanish speaker as well, and would love to help you or your child in any way I can! I have taught and tutored students ranging from the ages of 5-50.
I love making small differences in people's lives. I know how challenging going through school (and learning a new language) can be, and want to make academic experiences better in any way I can while getting to know my students. I picked up French while in high school, so I am familiar with the tricks that help with all facets of learning new languages!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know the student and their personal goals, and set expectations of what we will both do to work towards achieving them. I do some research if I'm not super familiar with what the student is doing, and off we go!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring for about 5 years, ranging from kids aged 5-college age. I am studying Spanish at an Ivy League university, have spoken spanish since I was born, and was in Spanish immersion starting at the age of 5, completing both levels of AP spanish (language and literature).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically, I charge $40 per hour, and this includes prep before class as well as a follow-up after class.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your tutor is someone who you think you will get along with!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about the teacher's experience and your needs, and how they match up.
