Hi! My name is Erin Bolin. I'm a licensed Pre-K-12th grade teacher and have been teaching and tutoring for over 12 years. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching and Reading Specialist license, from Concordia University. I have received extensive training in dyslexia tutoring and reading intervention, and am passionate about providing these services. Additionally, I have worked with many clients in the private sector to reach their individual educational needs, and health & wellness goals.     I cant thank Erin with Rewire Learning enough. My 6 year old son struggled with reading. Erin was able to provide an environment that he enjoyed and a method that helped him thrive and vastly improve his reading and reading comprehension.     Typically, I will meet with a client to do a reading assessment. This will set the tone of the reading intervention to follow. I usually meet with students 1-2 times/week, although more is an option as well! I continue working with clients until they have met their reading goals. 

    I am a licensed teacher and reading specialist. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 14 years. I have taught all grade levels and many subjects, but my love is teaching elementary students to read and spell. I have specialized dyslexia training and use an Orton-Gillingham based curriculum to teach reading and spelling using a multisensory approach. I have tutored and taught many students with both symptoms of dyslexia and a diagnosis of dyslexia. I look forward to working with you and/or your family member!

    Originally, I fell in love with teaching through garden-based education. The more I taught, the more I realized my true passion of teaching students to read. It's a special moment to see the light spark when students crack the code, learning to blend sounds, and later develop into fluent readers! I also love seeing students make the connection between sounds and letters as they learn to spell. My favorite intervention is working with students on spelling using white boards through dictation. Students practice segmenting the individual sounds (phonemes) in words, then write down the corresponding symbols (letters) that represent those sounds.
