Hannah Potter College Success Solutions

I am a dedicated tutor and student advocate with a background in higher education and non-profit sectors. I graduated from The New School, a social research university, where I specialized in cultural studies and textual analysis. Prior to my studies at TNS, I was an English Literature major and writing tutor at SUNY Fredonia. Since relocating to Portland OR, I have embarked upon a career in student counseling and tutoring high school and college students. I am passionate about supporting students in their academic journeys. Through my intentional approach, I help students navigate the complexities of educational systems. In my previous roles, I have guided students through critical stages of their education, from creating engaging applications for admissions, to securing financial aid to building strategies for academic success. I take pride in offering individualized support and helping students from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from underrepresented and low-income communities. My approach is rooted in empathy, resourcefulness, and a commitment to creating inclusive and equitable educational environments. I offer services in college admissions counseling and college writing tutoring (admissions and coursework). I am excited to bring my expertise in student advocacy, essay writing, financial literacy, and holistic academic support to students and their families.
