About
I love educating kids in science and math, and then seeing their hard work pay off when they achieve their goals. I have had the fortune of watching this happen many times over the last 9 years while I have been teaching college and high school kids. Five of those years I have been a high school science teacher (Chemistry, Physical science, and Biology) at Tigard High School in Tigard, Oregon. I have also tutored kids in Algebra 1 and any science class. While those are my expertise, I would feel comfortable tutoring pretty much any high school course. I have 3 college degrees: a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and Biophysics, a Masters of Science in Microbiology, and a Masters of Arts and Teaching in secondary education. I am a licensed secondary teacher for the state of Oregon. Please email me if you need any help!
