I love working with small children and guiding them through the process of learning! I work one on one with students to make sure they are understanding the material being taught.

I recently graduated with a degree in history and minored in communication and Chicano/Latino Studies. I'm currently in a teaching program as well so I have an understanding with the pressure of being a student and it all entails. I understand that social studies and language arts is not a simple subject for everyone, but I've learned with working with students how to make it attainable that allows for the students to succeed in their classes. I have classroom and student experiences with primary (pre-k-5th grades) and secondary (middle and high school).

I've been a paraeducator in the evergreen school district for a few years now and tutoring is my job. I really valued my education and I want to help other students succeed. I have experience working with special needs students, using conversational ASL, and I am especially confident helping with English paper writing. I love poetry and art in my free time and volunteering in schools. I believe that every student learns differently and I want to get to know your student so I can best help them understand the concepts of what they are learning.

I have a lifelong love of science and history, and strive to make both subjects fun and relatable. Writing, spelling, and grammar are also subjects I excel at. There are few things more enjoyable than seeing someone find that moment where a subject that they have struggled with suddenly clicks, and it goes from being something tedious to something truly enjoyable.
