About
I'm a humanities and arts focused student beginning an academic career with the goal of earning my master's degree in social work and leading outreach programs for non governmental public health organizations. I have a very strong background in academics, having completed the full international baccalaureate program as well as sustaining membership in french immersion. Additionally, I have been involved in theater arts, vocal work, jazz, and visual arts for around fourteen years, and have garnered acclaim for some of my projects in playwriting, performing, and directing. I have been a freelance tutor in various skill areas for several years, both virtually and in person, and have developed meaningful relationships with dozens of students. I am excited to be a help to your clients and believe that my background in school and the college admissions process will make me a valuable member of your team.
I love to teach because it brings out the best in me. I'm a great listener and lover of teaching with many years of freelance tutoring under my belt. As I work towards my bachelor's in gender studies and theater, I am excited to teach an array of subjects, working together to make learning accessible and fun!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to take a few days to introduce myself to new students and to come up with a plan that works for both of us of what we want to learn. I believe that good tutoring always improves the quality of the student's experience, so I try to listen intently to their needs and do what I can do formulate a class that will suit them perfectly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working as a tutor for over five years, and thus have a strong understanding of how to make academic material relatable and fun to many ages.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I use a sliding scale payment method from $20-60 depending on what the client is able to pay. This method allows a variety of students to access my services without their families becoming financially burdened by their child's success. I believe that everyone should have the right to equitable, excellent education.
