I made sure that students truly understand prerequisite concepts so that they can confidently progress through the material. Oftentimes concepts seem more difficult than they really are because previous classes didn't completely prepare us. This is common. By taking a step back and assessing what really needs to be addressed or reviewed, we can repair shaky foundations in our knowledge to achieve mastery and confidence in the subject.
