Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students can reach out to me and describe what they need via a quick zoom, facetime, or skype. It is best if I can see an assignment brief and work with the student on writing they have already produced. I can also help the student brainstorm ways to approach research and writing including formulating theses, solidifying arguments, and conducting research.
I am able to work with flute students of all levels to improve tone, technical skills, and musicality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have three graduate degrees: an Masters in Politics from the University of Edinburgh, and a Masters of Music and Doctorate from the University of Auckland.
