About
Teacher, librarian, artist, scholar. That is how I would describe myself. I have a Bachelors and Master degree. I have 15 years worth of teaching experience with ages 5-adult. I also have served as a Reading Partners site coordinator, Reading Clinic librarian, and research librarian. I love working with people and helping them reach their full potential. I struggled as a student in school, but I had wonderful tutors that helped me learn to love learning and I like to pay that forward. As a teacher, I know how hard it is to individualize in the classroom. That is why, as a tutor, I like to get to know each student individually and address their unique needs and wants. By providing individualized approaches, parents and students see results almost instantly. I have favorites approaches, but every learner is unique, so I am flexible in my approaches.
