Tulsa Math Tutor

I am a passionate math teacher who loves to watch students excel. My main focus is to ensure that the students I interact with gain the skills needed to make learning easier. The greatest struggle I see with students today is they allow themselves to get discouraged when the learning becomes difficult since so many of them have had no issues up to that point. Students need constant reassurance that they can overcome any obstacle with enough work and effort.

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I spent so much time and effort while in school learning not only from my teachers but from every internship I was able to take. I focused as much as possible on developing the skills to transfer my knowledge to the future generations.

I have taught at a number of high schools in Oklahoma and currently find myself teaching at Prue. I am qualified to teach Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Math of Finance, ACT Prep, Pre Calculus, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Pre-AP Algebra 2, and many more courses. I have taught almost every level of math that a high school student can take at this point, but always look for ways to continue pushing myself to be able to reach more students.

I enjoy helping students achieve their full potential. The best part of tutoring is seeing the figurative lightbulb light up when a student obtains the understanding of a topic that has been eluding them.
