Kevin Hutcherson

As a teacher with more than 15 years of tutoring and teaching combined, I am excited to have the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge with every student that I have the privilege to teach. In my 10 years of teaching AP and Honors Chemistry in the classroom, I have been able to apply real world applications to the often challenging subject matter. I create a relaxed environment where students can visualize the big picture and concepts rather than relying on memorization. In my early years starting in 6th grade I found math and science fascinating. I began to see the connection between these two subjects and how they are evident in our everyday lives. My interest grew as I went on to high school and college. Although these subjects are not always easy, I find they have deepened my application for the world around me. I am very passionate about teaching and my goal is to help each individual reach their potential. I am convinced that my enthusiasm and teaching style will assist to anyone who seeks my assistance.
