I am currently a college sophomore studying clarinet performance. While music is my focus, I have a passion for helping others in academic work.
Qualifications: - I have a 4.0
- I received an A in both English comp. 1 and comp. 2.
- I excelled in math in high school and earned an A in college algebra.
- For music, I have played in many elite ensembles: Honor Band of America, NAfME national concert band, All-State 2016-2018, and the University of Oklahoma’s wind symphony. Also, I received a 5 on both parts of the AP music theory exam and continue to do well in my college theory courses.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
if possible, I will ask them their strengths and weaknesses before the session.
During the session, I will ask what the student needs the most help on. Then, I will ask how they attempted to do the work and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played the clarinet for 9 years and have studied with college professors for almost four years.

I have worked with my peers consistently from middle school to present.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just reach out! I would be more than happy to help you and if you decide I’m not a good fit, then that is perfectly fine.

- What am I struggling with and what am I doing well?
- Can I make a list of a few specific things to make sure we cover all of them?
- What is my current process for what I am working on?
- Which learning methods work for me and which ones don’t?
