Sierra VanZant

I have been a middle school English teacher for the past four (4) years, and I got my Bachelor's degree in 2018 in English Education. I have worked with grades 6-12 on a variety of skills related to English (creative writing, essay writing, literature reading and analysis, grammar, etc.). I am very personable, passionate about what I teach, and creative in my lessons. I love building relationships with my students, and think that helps greatly with learning a new thing or practicing a skill. I also believe it's so important to modify things for each student and their specific needs, and I have had to do that in my instruction in a public school setting all the time. I can speak a little bit of Spanish, and can do some translating when needed. I am excited to help my students meet their own goals!
