Jackson Weldon Physics And Calculus Tutoring
About
I am an Junior science education major at the University of Oklahoma. I have a 4.0. I have taken Physics 1, Physics 2, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, and Calculus 3 and have recieved an A in all of these courses. I have a lot of experience tutoring both high school and college students. I have tutored for about a year now and have gained a lot of educational insight.
I mainly tutor high school, but I am open to tutoring middle school or elementary. I have a strong passion for both teaching and higher sciences. I care about both my students' emotional health and if they are correctly understanding the material. I will work extra hard to make sure that you succeed for little pay. I am cheap, flexible, and will meet either in person or online. I accept many different forms of payment.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will ask them to send me problems that they are struggling with first so that I myself am prepared. Then, I will ask the student to prepare the problems that they are struggling with so that we can work on them together when we first meet. I will jot down where I think the misunderstanding is happening.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored for Whizkids Oklahoma, for soreities at OU, and for my peers in high school. I have also served in the Americorps as a STEM teacher for a nonprofit organization called Project Transformation. On top of that I am an education major with insights into what works and what doesn't in teaching material.
