BD ELA Tutoring

Hi, my name is Bobbi Dobbins, and I have been teaching English Language Arts for 5 ½ years. During that time, I have taught 5th through 8th grade, with four years of experience teaching 8th grade.

Working with me means you will have a teacher who is patient, encouraging, and committed to helping you grow. I know ELA can feel challenging at times, but I believe every student can improve with the right support, practice, and confidence. I enjoy helping students strengthen their reading, writing, speaking, and critical-thinking skills because these are important not only in school, but also in everyday life.

Teaching is truly a passion of mine, and I get excited when students begin to master skills they once struggled with. I will do an excellent job because I care about my students, I understand the skills they need to be successful, and I am dedicated to helping each student feel more confident and prepared.
