Elementary/Middle School Tutor

One of my passions in teaching/tutoring is to find out how individuals learn best, and cater to their learning style. This will achieve maximum learning and enjoyment for the student.

I have attended and taught numerous courses on the art of teaching, as well as public speaking and other similar skills. I have 100+ hours of volunteering in OKC Public Schools as a Character Education Coach, and have also volunteered as a tutor. I helped run and teach at a small school for a semester. I have taught music privately for the past 10 years.

I would love to come alongside your child and help them grow and succeed in their school, and also as a person.

I love to tutor from a relationship with the student. I believe that building trust with a student can go a long way in them being willing to listen to a teacher. I love to see that relationship develop as we work on projects together.

I love seeing people have a passion for learning! I love to do all I can to make learning fun, and understandable. I love being able to use creative means to help learning take place in any subject. It excites me especially when a struggling student is able to grasp a concept and move forward to understanding.
