Hi there! I am a certified elementary teacher in Oklahoma and I specialize in middle school ELA. I value deep connection with my students so that they can feel comfortable with their education needs with me. I create a safe environment for my students to ask questions and learn!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When helping a student, I like to begin with the areas that the student feels confident in. This builds their self esteem during our learning session. Once we build confidence, we slowly dive into the areas that the student struggles with. I make room for errors, as they are one of the greatest ways that we learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in elementary education and I am a certified teacher in Oklahoma. I specialize in ELA and middle school levels, however I have taught many grades.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of students, all with different learning needs. I taught children with ASD for three years and I have taught students in the general ed classroom.
