About
I'm a patient, kind, caring person who not only wants to see the As from a student. I make sure my students understand what they're learning and evaluate them in forms other than homework, as im aware that a bit of cheating sometimes tends to get around. I like to make sure my students aren't just studying for the results but for themselves and to enjoy the progress while we're at it. I also help students by training their memory to retain information. Don't get surprised if I pop up a random quiz on topics learnt a couple of weeks ago!😉
I fell in love with this profession, as I get to make a huge impact on students lives and be that extra push they need to help them achieve their goals. I myself have had tutors and saw the great impact they had in my grades and understanding of certain topics. I love expanding my knowledge and seeing students progress in their time with me. I've been giving private lessons for a short while and yet I have had promising results and no complaints.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is just a 30 minutes introduction session for me and the student to get to know each other and for us to discuss the needs and goals of the student. In doing this, i can prepare classes to suit their requirements. During the next few classes i will be giving assignments to see just how much the student can do and how much of a push they'll need. I believe that classwork is more effective than homework. Don't get me wrong, i will still be assigning homeworks here and there for the retention of the information taught. However i believe that the more work a student is able to do in front of me, the better he/she will understand what they have to do. This lowers the chances of struggles with homework.
