About

I can tutor students in math using English, Spanish, or Arabic. I have a master’s degree in math. I have experience with students from elementary all the way through college-level math. I have been tutoring students for more than 8 years.

I enjoy helping students become confident in themselves. The one-on-one element of tutoring is awesome because my help is more effective in that way. Also, I like to see the results.

SJ

He’s the best. He helped me in college Linear Algebra at Cleveland State. I received an A. He explains very abstract concepts by applying them to daily situations. I recommend him.

My daughter earned an A in Calculus. Adam is the best tutor I know. He was so patient and thorough in his explanation that my daughter understood even the most difficult concepts after working with him. I recommended him to a friend who also had stellar results in math class. Plus, he can explain it in English and Arabic. :)

He was such a wonderful tutor. He was really flexible with our schedule. My son improved a whole letter grade in Geometry. I recommend him to every family with a kid in math.

Frequently asked questions

I ask the students about the subjects they are studying and the methods they use. By understanding students as individuals, I can cater to their unique needs.

I have a masters degree in math. I have 7 years of tutoring experience. I have 2 years of experience teaching at the college level.

I typically charge students $30 per lesson (bought individually, upfront). If they buy 10 lessons (bundled), then I charge $25 per lesson ( $250, up front). These prices may vary based on age range and distance.

I started teaching in 2016 when I began grad school at Cleveland State University. Although, my tutoring experience began 8 years ago.

I have worked with students from elementary math through college level math. I have helped students who speak English as a second language.

I recently when to an education seminar to discuss how to improve math education in Cleveland.

Look for a tutor who is willing to be patient with you, ask about your learning methods to help you understand more, and hold you accountable so that you succeed.

Students should have a clear idea of the topics that confuse them the most so that they ask for help with those topics.
