About

Right Path Tutoring is an all encompassing service that not only focuses on the tutoring aspect, but also what may be stopping or hindering learning. As a former HR Director for 25+ years, I have worked with diverse groups from low income students to corporate executives. I truly enjoy helping others learn, creating a safe space for learning and guiding people to success.

Personally, in addition to my Human Resources experience, I have worked as a school mentor/tutor for low-income students, am a single parent of a college student, own and operate my own LLC where I help small business owners lay foundations for success in both HR and training.

My daughter got behind in math because we switched school districts, her old school focused more on English. She not only helped remind my daughter that she was smart, she worked extra with her, brought her own worksheets, etc to help my daughter catch-up. I would recommend her to anyone.

Frequently asked questions

I like to start off by building relationships and understanding what is the learning challenge.  I allow my students to get to know me, I believe that my transparency in my learning journey both professionally and personally (to an extent) is what has created such success.

I have worked in almost every industry, so I have worked with a very diverse population...all in the learning/training arena.  I have taught elementary through corporate executives. Education/training has been a part of my daily world for over 20 years.

Yes, I charge $25/hour

I worked for a education non-profit where we went into the lowest performing schools and tutor/mentored the students to help build up the graduation rate.  It was there where I saw how overcrowded the classrooms were and how teachers were unable to really provide that 1:1 interaction that is sometimes needed.  Also as a single parent, I had to navigate the education system to ensure that my daughter was learning...so all of that together, made me want to give back and share what I know to help.

I have worked with elementary children in poverty stricken neighborhoods all the way to corporate executives/CEO's helping them learn how to manage their staff.

Go with not only who you are just comfortable with, but also who is going to ensure that you are learning.  It's what really creates that balanced relationship between the tutor/student.  Both have to want success.

What their role is in ensuring their needs are met.  What part is the student going to play to make sure they succeed.
