About

Math has been my favorite subject for as long as I can remember. I am understandable of our current learning environments and am always happy to help with homework, studying, and anything math related ! I am 17 and currently a senior in highschool taking college classes at University Of Cincinnati.

I find pure joy in teaching math and can help make it fun. I don't like being strict and am very patient when teaching.

Frequently asked questions

My typical process is to get a good idea on what the student would like to learn and achieve. I choose to start from the base and work my way up to the main subject. It's important to start with what you know to create a secure understanding of the type of problems and subject a student is learning. My favorite thing to do is figure out how a student's brain understands problems and how they would show their work which can later be used to create muscle memory on solving problems.

I have gone through math classes with straight A's and am currently a senior in highschool taking math classes at a university near me.

I currently will charge $16 an hour for math tutoring.

I started tutoring some students with math like geometry and algebra 2 on this site and have always gotten good results ! I fell in love with tutoring and continue to get new students!

I have worked with friends, classmates, and new students here on this site on many types of math.

Recently a friend of mine who struggles with math had an algebra 2 test coming up. She had no idea what she was learning in that class and was getting more and more lost. I sat with her and started with what we had learned in previous years and applied it to the question. I used a mixture of analogies and examples to help her get a better understanding and she ended up getting an A on her test.

Students should first figure out what they are confident with in their work. I believe to get the best response and help out of teachers is to first tell them what you do know and then continue onto specific things that you do not understand. Being specific is helpful and letting your teacher understand what you do know helps them get an idea of what clicks in your brain.
