Hi, I’m Jordon, based in Mentor, Ohio. Thanks for taking the time to watch my intro video.
I tutor a wide range of subjects, drawing on both healthcare and academic experience.
My reading experience comes from a year with AmeriCorps, working one-on-one with elementary students on literacy — tracking their progress and building their confidence.
From an engineering-focused portion of my studies, I completed algebra through calculus, general chemistry 1, and physics 1 and 2. From an occupational therapy-focused degree program, I bring coursework in general chemistry 2, biology, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, neuroscience, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and statistics.
Beyond academics, I bring six years in fast-paced healthcare settings at Cleveland Clinic, and I’m a foster parent, which means a lot of patience and staying calm when a student is stuck or frustrated.
My approach is simple: meet the student where they are, break things into smaller steps, and make sure they actually understand the material, not just get through it. I’d love the chance to work with your students.
