Gina Young

I am a licensed (PS-3) teacher with my (K-12) Reading Endorsement. I have over 11 years of experience as a classroom teacher and private literacy tutor to students aged 4-10. I am certified in the Wilson Fundations program, and I am familiar with many reading programs used in today's classroom. I use a variety of structured, research-based strategies to teach instruction and intervention in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. I provide tailored lessons that reach a variety of learning styles with multi-sensory approaches. I am passionate about literacy, and available to provide individualized tutoring or to provide additional support around classroom instruction or assignments.
