Diana Packer

I am a Montessori educator seeking tutoring opportunities. I have rich and varied experiences, as a private tutor, home-school teacher for pre-K, 1st and 2nd grade during the pandemic, middle school coordinator and teacher, in-school tutor for mathematics and writing, and a substitute teacher at primary and elementary levels. I have completed Montessori elementary and adolescent training, and have over 10 years experience in teaching. I had a pre-K to 3rd teaching license before I began planning, creating, and teaching Montessori curriculum for adolescents, and did my student teaching in a traditional 1st-grade classroom. I enjoy children, guiding them in their learning and development. I like to create project and game-based activities to make learning active and fun! I enjoy writing, reading, being out in nature, and arts and crafts. I also was a professional classical musician for over 30 years, and have chef certification. I have two grown daughters and four cats.
