English Language Arts Tutoring

I have recently graduated from Ohio University with a BSEd in Middle Childhood Education. Through internships, I have taught 4th through 8th grade in a variety of settings. Online or in-person, I love creating new ways for kids to explore, discover, and make learning fun!

My passion for teaching stems from getting to know my students and finding ways to personalize their educational experiences. The skills, interests, and backgrounds of each learner should inform the way they are taught. I have found that students succeed not when they are molded to fit the curriculum, but when they are given the personalized tools needed to bring the curriculum to them.
