Patt3rns.net provides online math tutoring that saves you time and frustration. I provide tutoring in math subjects ranging from Prealgebra to Calculus and strive to help you achieve your goals. I have a Bachelor of Science in the Mathematical Sciences and have helped people in tutoring for over 14 years.
I have helped math students from Kindergarten to College in various topics and I love seeing students' faces light up when they understand topics they found difficult. This large range of experience has allowed me to see where people struggle throughout their math journey and helps me determine how to best help them. I enjoy helping others succeed and hope to help you do the same.

I think it is best to start with a discussion about goals and current academic standing. Diagnostic assessments can be helpful when appropriate.

I have a Bachelor of Science in the Mathematical Sciences and over 14 years of math tutoring experience. I have tutored in a college math lab, middle school, and for one of the top in person tutoring centers.

I started tutoring in college in the math lab.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from 5 to 56 during my career. I worked with college students in the math lab for 2 years, kindergarten through college at a tutoring center for 8 years, and tutored grades 6 through 8 in a middle school for 4 years. I have worked with remedial students as well as students working above grade level.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Choose someone with experience in a variety of situations and grade levels because you want the methods you learn to be applicable in any grade.
