About
I earned my B.S. in Molecular Genetics from Ohio State. I've also coauthored two behavioral neuroscience studies during my three subsequent years of research experience, and I regularly guest-lecture for Intro to Sociology at Columbus State.
I'm currently taking a break from academia and seeking the flexibility of tutoring before applying to PhD programs.
As a researcher with ADHD, I understand the power of "semantic learning"— storytelling and connecting concepts to a student's personal interests is proven to deepen their understanding and memorization of the material.
I'm also queer/disability-friendly and a first-gen college grad, so I'm happy to provide more general mentorship on navigating academic institutions that aren't really built for us.
