Hello! My name is Devin Cole and I am the founder of Cole's Tutoring Service. I live in Dublin, Ohio. I tutor and mentor grades K-8 in English, Reading Comprehension, Science, and History. For as long as I can remember, I have had the desire to see students achieve their academic goals. I believe that success is rooted in having people around you that not only believe in you but will push you to become the best version of yourself. At Cole's Tutoring, we believe that every student has the potential to overcome academic obstacles; some just need extra support and assistance to do so. We also offer a mentor program for students in need of emotional support as we believe in order for a student to succeed academically they require emotional stability and balance. At Cole's Tutoring, our greatest concern is the student's overall well-being.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At Cole's Tutoring, we offer a free consultation for our new students. We answer questions the student may have as well as the parents. Once we have established ourselves with the family and student, we then begin to see where the student may be struggling in their classes. With this information, we then create a personal success plan for the student which allows the student, parents, myself, and teachers track the growth of the student. If both the parents and students agree to this then all parties will sign a contract and pick a day to begin the tutoring sessions.
We also offer a (Free) Mentoring program as we believe the bridge of success is held up by pillars of emotional support. For any student to join the mentoring program, the parents will have to sign a mentoring contract as well as student information.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with students for four years inside and outside of the classroom. I believe these experiences helped me understand that there is more to teaching than just pushing a child to succeed. It is my belief after working with elementary students and high school students, that in order for any child to succeed there must be emotional support for the student. Over the years I've learned that each child is different, so the way we teach or tutor each child must be different.

Our consultation is Free
Private Session: $25/ per hour
Group session: $20/ Per hour
We do charge a $5 convince fee if we travel to the student's home
Every two referrals, parents will receive 50% off a session
Every four referrals, parents will receive 1 free session
*We accept paypal, cashapp, and payment via card*
*We do require a deposit that covers the first hour of each session*
