James Mulholland

I am a science teacher and have been teaching the past ten years. I teach primarily Bio and Ap Bio, but I also have numerous years of experience teaching Chemistry, Physical Science, and Marine Science.

I received my undergraduate in Biology at Ohio State and my Masters in Education at the University of Notre Dame. My teaching philosophy is to ask questions frequently while drawing models and introducing new concepts. My students feel at ease learning from methods and are not afraid to ask questions or to be wrong when answering questions. This active learning model helps student master concepts to apply to new situations, not just memorize them.
