Hello! My name is joy and I love teaching Language Arts. I have a passion for helping students and engaging them in activities that gets them learning! I graduated Kent State with my degree in Middle Childhood Education (4-9). I have taught Language Arts for two years in Akron. Upon request, I can provide a resume and background check if need be. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I will want to get to know a little bit about the student. Having activities that connect to an individual can help them stay engaegd and learn depending on what they need help with. After that I will make a plan for them. This all depends on where their strengths and weaknesses are. From there we will begin to work with eachtoher and learn, mastering our goals.
