Hi! I’m a certified Intervention Specialist with over 10 years of experience helping students build confidence and succeed academically.

I specialize in working with struggling learners, especially in reading, writing, and study skills. I am Orton-Gillingham trained and use structured, step-by-step, multi-sensory strategies to help students truly understand what they are learning—not just get through assignments.

Students who work with me can expect a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment. I break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, provide clear guidance, and help students stay engaged and motivated. I also focus on building independence, so students gain skills they can use even when they’re not with me.

I have extensive experience working with students who have IEPs, ADHD, and other learning differences, and I tailor each session to meet individual needs. I also provide homework help and executive functioning support to improve organization, focus, and follow-through.

I do an excellent job because I combine strong instructional strategies with a deep understanding of how students learn. I track progress, adjust instruction as needed, and communicate clearly so both students and families feel confident in the process.

My goal is always the same: help students feel capable, reduce frustration, and make real, lasting progress.
