I love connecting with people and helping them find passion and understanding while connecting to learning in ways that work for them. I'm passionate about the arts and about fostering creativity, and I haven't met a subject I dislike yet!
I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching (Elementary Education), and am AMS Montessori certified for 1st-3rd grade.
have been officially teaching for four years, but I have been in education for longer than that. I have worked as a teacher, tutor, academic coach, study abroad program guide, substitute teacher, and even dorm parent! I've taught from toddlers through 12th grade.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies in Creative Arts Integration (which is fancy speak for I have a strong background in Visual Art, Dance, Music, and creative writing/literature and how to use that to make learning more interesting and engaging).
I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching (Elementary Education) and a K-12 Utah Teaching license.
I am AMS certified for Montessori Education at the Lower Elementary level (Grades 1-3). I have been teaching at a Montessori school for 4 years.
I am Level 1 Orff Music certified.
