Stephanie Navarro

I know what it is like to struggle in school. I know what it is like to have a necessary subject feel impossible, and I know how small that makes a student feel, which is why this is so important to me! My job is not only to provide a student with facts and rules - I am committed to passionate learning, in a variety of subjects!

I have been working as a tutor since 2016, when I was a volunteer at Seven Baskets Community Development. I was in charge of putting together STEM lesson plans that would engage and educate elementary to high school aged students.

I myself am a university student, so I know the impact of technology on a student's life, and I know how to navigate new technological advances, such as Google Classroom and Blackboard.

Here are a few of my personal accomplishments:

- Third Place Winner in national Blue Mountain Poetry Contest

- Received a 5 on AP English, Government, and Spanish exams

- Chemistry Honors Student at Columbus State Community College

- Algebra Honors at Columbus State Community College
