My job is working myself out of a job. In other words, my “job” is to teach my students how to stand on their own as quickly and as effectively as possible. The funny thing about all of this is that—for me, anyway—this is not a job. It’s never has been a job. I love what I do. I hesitate to call it a “calling,” because that sounds hokey and a bit phony.

That said, I love what I do and the students I am privileged to work with. I realize that parents are trusting me with their child’s success and future. I take that responsibility seriously, and I do everything I can to help “my kids” succeed. Again, please read the testimonials here and on my website. NOTE: During the coronavirus outbreak, Westside Tutoring & Testing Services is offering one-on-one, online test preparation and academic tutoring via Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom, primarily Zoom. Enrollment is limited, so contact me ASAP. I never take on more than 10-12 students at any one time, but I will do my best to make room for a student who really needs my help.

When it comes to academic tutoring, my students routinely earn excellent grades (i.e., As & Bs), and when it comes to test preparation for entrance exams and proficiency tests, my students routinely earn top 1-2% (98-99th percentile) scores on the various high school, college, and graduate/professional school entrance exams.

While I routinely work with students who have been diagnosed with learning difficulties, including ADD, ADHD, Asperger's syndrome, dyslexia and related reading difficulties, auditory and visual processing disorders, and many others, I accept all students. I also help students who struggle with test anxiety, study skills-related issues, time management challenges, and the like.

I am proud of my track record and my students' long list of achievements—in and out of the classroom—from Secret Service Agents to teachers, professors, physicians, attorneys, engineers, accountants, CEOs, CFOs, small businesspeople, and many, many more.
