About
I have been tutoring General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry for three years. I will be graduating with a degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech this May. While these sessions are over zoom, I am still able to work out the problems with the students to not only audibly explain, but visually as well.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with a general overview of what classes they are taking, extra curriculars, jobs, etc. This way I can gage how much time they can dedicate to working on this class specifically outside of tutoring sessions. With enough hard work and dedication, I have seen students come back from failing grades time and time again; I remind my new students of this and ask them to tell me their goals for the class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge 30$ an hour for individuals. This includes extra practice, test reviews, and homework help.
How did you get started teaching?
One of the teachers in the Chemistry Department at my University suggested that I start teaching peers.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have previously worked with undergraduates of all ages and high school students.
