Anatomy And Physiology Tutoring
About
Hello! I am a senior biology major at Medaille College in Buffalo, NY. I am the clerical assistant for the biology program director and a certified tutor for the Academic Support Center at Medaille College. I tutor Anatomy and Physiology, Botany, and Microbiology. However Anatomy and Physiology is my strong suit. I also took Comparative so can help out with animal vs human anatomy as well. With the COVID 19 outbreak, I know there are lots of students that have been moved to online classes such as myself that need help with coursework. Contact me and we can find a schedule that works for you!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually try and pinpoint where they are in the course and then find areas that they need based off of their notes, coursework, and tests. Then depending on what is needed, whether it is test prep, understanding, studying, or problem solving, I then go from there with the student's specific needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree of Arts and an Associates Degree of Science. I am one semester away from completing my Bachelors of Science in Biology in Fall 2020. I was trained to be a certified tutor in September of 2019.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge by the hour, no matter the subject. I charge $14 an hour and then if you only want a half hour session, I charge $10 for half an hour. However every person's financial situation is different, especially with the growing pandemic so I'm very flexible.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started through recommendations from the Honors Program Director and the Biology Program Director at Medaille College due to my GPA and specific grades for certain courses.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students, there is a program at my college called TRIO that works with students who have disabilities, are minorities, or are financially impaired and I've worked with many students from there. I primarily have worked with college students for tutoring.
