I'm a certified middle school (4-9 grades) teacher with a diverse background.
I have degrees in Middle Childhood Education with focuses in science and social studies. I also have degrees in Economics and Korean.
I am especially passionate about helping children connect with and get excited about history. I feel that it's especially important now.
I serve as an Officer in the Ohio Army National Guard and have high standards for myself and my students.
I am willing to tutor any middle school subject and would be very interested in working with students who are facing the challenges incumbent with distance learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I give students a learning-style survey to better understand how they like to learn. I also discuss the student's academic strengths and weaknesses with their guardian, and talk to the student about their own personal goals.
