Math/SAT/SSAT/PSAT Tutoring
About
I strive to develop a true understanding of the topics covered and solidify that understanding by maintaining relevance and application.
Everyone learns differently, a teacher in a classroom cannot learn each student's learning style, but I love to focus on each of my students and help them find a way to succeed in a way that makes them confident in their academic abilities

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first session is spent understanding the student and learning where they struggle. After that, I create an adjustable learning plan for each session based on the topic and how the student learns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a tutor throughout middle school and high school. I am now a college student pursuing a degree in applied mathematics (concentration in statistics) with a minor in computer science. I have been working with students from the age of 5 to 18 during this time. I provide tutoring for SAT/PSAT/SSAT
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the topic, I charge anywhere from $25/hr to $40/hr
How did you get started teaching?
My mom used to homeschool my siblings and me, this is when I started tutoring my younger siblings to help my mom. My younger sister had a friend who wanted to enter the advanced programs at her school so my mom suggested I tutor her. This is when I started my teaching.
