Sophia Decker Tutoring

I started tutoring in 2011 and have tutored several subjects including Foreign Languages, Math, and English. I can also teach test prep: I scored 238/240 on the PSAT and 2310/2400 on the SAT and earned a score of "5" in six AP tests, including a perfect score in AP Spanish Language. I am proficient in Spanish, French, and Latin and have experience with German, Ancient Greek, and Sanskrit as well.

I love helping students boost their confidence. More than anything, I love it when students develop a passion for learning. Some of my favorite moments have been when a student said at the end of a class, "Can't we just keep doing Latin a little longer?" or when a struggling student told me with a huge grin that he had gotten an "A" on his quiz!
