I have been told by many students that I am very good at breaking down complex concepts into simpler ideas for illustration. I am also familiar with the learning pyramid--the best ways for students to retain information are teaching others and doing the work themselves. I am a huge fan of visual learning, which is the preferred choice of learning for many students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Try to be a flexible as possible and tailor my teaching style to the student's needs. Together, with the student, we will identify goals and put together a plan for success so that they will achieve their desired results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- 12+ years of experience in math classes (Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Numerical Methods)
- 8 years of experience in working in a STEM field (Aerospace Engineer)
- Currently attending school as a biology major (very familiar with biology and chemistry material)
