Hello, my name is Melina Mirza! I am a junior at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Environmental Studies. I have a deep understanding biology and chemistry, so I am very good at teaching explaining these concepts.
Class History:
In highschool I completed Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, and completed the 2-year Biotechnology Program.
In college I have completed General Chemistry 1 & 2 + Labs, Organic Chemistry 1 & 2 + Labs, General Biology 1 & 2 + Labs, Ecology and Evolution + Lab, and Genetics.
I have always loved science, but I haven't always been the best at it. I have found it hard to learn in a classroom setting, and used tutoring systems myself so that I could excel in my classes. I know how hard chemistry and biology can be to some students, so I would love to help make their learning easier. When students aren't struggling to learn science, they can appreciate how facsinating it truly is. I love science, and I love with others do too.
