I am an experienced and caring Certified Academic Language Therapist as well as I am Wilson Level One vertified. I offers specialized one-on-one private reading instruction. I am passionate about all children having the opportunity to read fluently, accurately, and with enjoyment. My philosophy is that every student has the right to academically succeed!!
When a student begins tutoring they immediately begin building phonemic awareness, phonics skills, sound-symbol connections, and supporting skills. Reading and spelling are taught simultaneously so fluency and writing can strengthen quickly.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin with a baseline assessment. I will typically do the following assessments: WADE, RAN/ RAS, MTA baseline, CARS, Spelling inventory, Fluency Read and use the WRS to find their independent, instructional and frustrational level.
