What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first meet the parents or guardians and child to discuss needs and areas that need improvement. At this time, we determine days and times that work best for the child and for me. We complete an informal contract with targeted objectives and goals to ensure we’re in agreement with progress path.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in communications and have worked as a substitute teacher for the past three years.
